About the Graduate Follow-up Unit

  • The Alumni Affairs Unit is one of the vital units within the faculty, operating under the direct supervision of the Unit Director. The Unit aims to establish a continuous communication bridge between the faculty and its graduates, addressing their professional and developmental needs in alignment with the faculty’s mission and strategic objectives. It works to strengthen the relationship between alumni and the faculty and to support their effective integration into the Labor market.

Graduate Follow-up Unit Responsibilities

1. Building a Graduate Database:

  • Designing dedicated forms for collecting and updating alumni data, including full name, date of birth, national ID, contact information, cumulative GPA, and other relevant details.
  • Establishing an integrated electronic system for managing and regularly updating alumni records.

2. Establishing an Alumni Association:

  • Supervising the foundation of the Faculty Alumni Association and organizing its membership.
  • Issuing periodic newsletters and publications for alumni featuring faculty updates and employment opportunities.

3. Skills Development and Employment Opportunities:

  • Organizing training programs aimed at enhancing graduates’ skills and preparing them for the job market.
  • Hosting annual job fairs and inviting business leaders to provide employment opportunities and practical training placements.

4. Communication and Follow-Up:

  • Addressing alumni inquiries, complaints, and suggestions in a positive and effective manner.
  • Organizing graduation ceremonies and regular alumni gatherings to strengthen ties between graduates and the faculty.

5. Representation and Coordination:

  • Representing the Faculty in official meetings related to alumni affairs.
  • Coordinating with academic departments to activate alumni programs and align them with Labor market demands.

6. Continuous Development:

  • Proposing new initiatives to strengthen alumni engagement and meet their evolving needs.
  • Periodically evaluating the Unit’s performance and recommending improvements to ensure the achievement of its objectives.
