Ceremony Honoring Top Students of Undergraduate and Postgraduate Levels for the Academic Year 2023-2024 and Recognition of the Hotel Management Students for Organizing Helwan University and Faculty Events during Ramadan 2025.
The Faculty of Tourism and Hotels organized, on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Soha Abdel Wahab, Dean of the Faculty, a ceremony to honor the top students across various departments at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels for the academic year 2023-2024. The ceremony also included honoring the students of the Department of Hotel Management who contributed to organizing all university and faculty events during the blessed month of Ramadan 2025.
The ceremony was attended by:
Prof. Dr. Nahla Nassar, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs
Prof. Dr. Hala Gomaa, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research
Prof. Dr. Sameh Gamal, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs
And numerous esteemed faculty members and supporting staff from various departments within the faculty.
The Dean emphasized that the celebration of the top students reflects the faculty administration’s continuous commitment to supporting, motivating, and encouraging students to maintain academic excellence and instil confidence in all of them.
Furthermore, she highlighted the significant role played by the students of the Department of Hotel Management under the supervision and organization of Prof. Dr. Sameh Gamal, Professor of Hotel Management and Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, in organizing university and faculty events, including: (University Council Iftar - Helwan University Suhoor - Faculty of Tourism Suhoor - Iftar organized by the Department of Working with Groups at the Faculty of Social Work) as well as other events held for the external community during Ramadan 2025, which were met with admiration and respect by all attendees.
