Symposium Entitled: “Hospitality Criteria”

In line with the faculty’s commitment to enhancing student development and enriching their knowledge and skills, the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels organized a seminar on Wednesday, February 26, in the Grand Hall of the Faculty Hotel. The event was held under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Soha Abdel Wahab, Dean of the Faculty, and the leadership of Prof. Dr. Sameh Gamal, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.
The Symposium, titled “Hospitality Criteria”, was delivered to students of the Hotel Management Department by Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Nassar, Director of Systems and Applications at the General Administration of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.
Approximately 70 students attended the seminar, all of whom emphasized the importance of holding such academic events, which contribute significantly to raising their scientific and professional competence. The session witnessed strong engagement from the attendees, as Mr. Nassar provided a detailed explanation of the application of hospitality standards across various types of hotels and the implementation mechanisms of these criteria within the Egyptian hotel sector.
