Tourism Guidance Department

The Tourism Guidance Department aims to graduate professionally qualified students equipped with comprehensive knowledge to serve tourists at the highest standards. The department emphasizes linguistic development, dedicating significant space in its academic programs to foreign language fundamentals, offering courses in three languages: English, French, and German.

The program prepares graduates to become distinguished ambassadors for Egypt, thoroughly knowledgeable about the country’s history, monuments, and civilizations across the ages. Students learn Hieroglyphics and acquire the specialized skills needed to guide tourist groups through Egypt’s historic sites, providing expert explanations of archaeological landmarks.

Admission Requirements & Study Duration

Admission Requirements

  • Prospective students must hold a recent Egyptian General Secondary Certificate or an equivalent accredited qualification in tourism/hospitality, meeting the required total score set by the Supreme Council for University Admissions Coordination.
  • The applicant must achieve a minimum score of 70% in their first foreign language in the General Secondary Certificate or its equivalent international certificates.
  • All prospective students must successfully pass a formal personal interview conducted by the Faculty's Admissions Committee.

Study Duration

  • The Bachelor's degree program requires four academic years of study, comprising eight semesters
