Tourism Studies Department

Tourism Studies Department offers a wide range of academic programs in the fields of tourism, travel, and air transportation. It prepares graduates to work across various sectors of the tourism industry and airline companies, in addition to a wide range of public sector jobs related to the tourism industry as a whole.

The department is dedicated to enhancing students’ practical skills. Its academic programs include numerous field studies and international study trips, integrated throughout the years of study to ensure students gain hands-on experience and real-world exposure in the tourism industry.

Admission Requirements and Duration of Study

Admission Requirements:

• The applicant must hold a recent General Secondary Education Certificate or an equivalent qualification, such as tourism or hotel diplomas, in accordance with the minimum grade requirement determined by the University Admission Coordination Office.

• The applicant must have achieved a minimum of 70% in the first foreign language in the General Secondary Certificate or its equivalent.

• The applicant must pass the personal interview held at the Faculty.

Duration of Study:

The duration of study for obtaining a Bachelor’s degree is four academic years, divided into eight semesters.
